| Allied War Memorial Cemetery |
Located at Htaukkyant, about 32 km from Yangon on the road to Bago. It is a memorial cemetery of Allied soldiers who died in the Myanmar Campaign during the Second World War. The cemetery's beautifully kept grounds has 27,000 stone-graves of Commonwealth and Allied soldiers. |

| Bogyoke Aung San Market |

Bogyoke Aung San Market is a well-known market where you will find everything you want to buy from local to foreign goods in one single place. Situated in the center of Yangon city, Bogyoke Aung San Market was built in 1926, and inaugurated by the Mayor of Yangon, Mr.Jar Vin Scott. Thus, the market was also given the name, Scott market in honour of the Mayor and after independence; it was formally changed to Bogyoke Aung San Market.
This market building is included in the list of 189 historical buildings in Yangon. Tourists can buy precious stones, paintings, traditional costumes here in one single place. You can buy Jade flower pots. You can also buy water and oil paintings. You will also find beautifully sculptured Myanmar handicrafts, you can decorate in your home and garden at the shops which specializes in Myanmar handicrafts. | Bogyoke Aung San Museum |
Just east of the soaring Shwedagon pagoda, the crown jewel of sightseeing in the capital, sits the Bogyoke Aung San Museum. Bogyoke Aung San Museum is located on No.15, Bogyoke Museum Lane, Bahan Township, Yangon.
The museum displays an English-language newspaper article describing the country's first silent film and show furniture, dresses, books, the car used by Bogyoke Aung San, and his family photos.
Photos of what seems like every winner of the country's equivalent of the Oscar clutching their gold statuettes. Spooky, life-size cutouts of movie characters lurk behind models of film sets. Film cut are shown on old TV sets.

| Botahtaung Pagoda |
“Botataung" means "one thousand military officers". It stands on the riverbank of Yangon river. The locality is the busy sea front with dock, their daily traffic of steamer and boats.
It is hollow inside and one can walk through it and a sort of mirrored maze inside the pagoda with glass show-cases containing many of the ancient relics and artifacts which were sealed inside the earlier pagoda. Above this interesting middle, the golden pagoda spire rises to 40 meters (132feet). It's said to have the genuine hair relics of Buddha. The festival of Botataung Pagoda held annually in December of Each year. |

| Kabaaye Pagoda |
The name Kaba Aye in Myanmar means "world peace" to which this pagoda is dedicated. This pagoda was built in 1952 for the 1954-56 Sixth Buddhist Synod. The 34 metre (111 feet) high pagoda also measures 34 metres around its base. It stands about 11 km north of the city. The Buddhist Art Museum and Maha Pasana Cave are also located in the same compound. |

The area of the Garden is 110 acres, water areas is 150 acres, which makes it a total of 260 acres. You will find green plantation of vegetables, exceptional natural designed waterfalls, and neat and tidy built huts for the visitors, which will make their stay in the garden peaceful and refreshing.
You can also find a variety of beautiful flowers, the natural scene of the lake water and large shady trees, which will give you, shade from the hot burning midday sun. | Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda |
The reclining Buddha image here is one of the largest images in Myanmar. The original image was built in 1907. But it has suffered damage due to climate over the years. In 1957 it was demolished and rebuilt to this structure in 1966. The pagoda is on Shwegondine Road, only a short distance beyond the Shwedagon Pagoda. If you can't get to Bago to see the Shwethalyaung, then don't miss this colossal image. |

In the gems museum, you will find ruby, jade, pearl and the jewelry counters. The jeweler shops are located on the first floor and second floor, while the museum is on the third floor. Twice a year, in March and October, the gems fair and auction are held here attracts many jewel dealers from all over the world. Located on Pyay Road, the National Museum has five floors of exhibits. It displays the lion Throne, the Elephant Throne, the Royal Regalia, manuscripts, paintings, etc.The National Museum exhibits the Lion Throne of King Thibaw, the last Myanmar King, Royal Regalia of l9th century, artifacts of various ancient periods, musical instruments and paintings. It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. except Saturday and Sunday. |

| National Race Park |
National Race Park is situated on the left side of Yangon-Thanlyin bridge. It was established by the national race park established by Ministry of Progress of Border Areas and National Races and Development Affairs.
If you visit the park, you will not only enjoy fresh breeze blowing across Bago River but also get the sense of Union spirit from the villages of our national brethren Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Bamar, Mon, Rakhine and Shan.You can see buildings with significant symbol denoting various national races residing in the country.
One of these traditional house, Bamar traditional house, There are many rooms composed in Bamar traditional house. Firstly, you will get to the living room at the entrance of the house. There, Bamar traditional choice of food and drink betel box, pickled tea leaves, cheroot cigar and green tea pot are always served. Traditional musical instruments harp, xylophone, etc are in the living room.
The kitchen is in separate part of the house. Household utensils are placed in the kitchen. Appear is under the house where the traditional cloths are weaved. There are well, granary and bullock cart in the courtyard.

| Shwedagon Pagoda |
The most notable building in Yangon is the Shwe Dagon Pagoda, a great cone-shaped Buddhist monument that crowns a hill about one mile north of the Cantonment. The pagoda itself is a solid brick stupa (Buddhist reliquary) that is completely covered with gold. It rises 326 feet (99 m) on a hill 168 feet (51 m) above the city.
The legend of the Shwedagon tells of two merchant brothers meeting the Buddha who gave them eight strands of His hair to be enshrined in Shwedagon. With the help of a number of celestial beings, the brothers and the king of this region (Myanmar) discovered the hill where the relics of the previous Buddha’s had been enshrined.
When the strands of the Buddha's hair were safely enshrined together with the relics of the proceeding Buddha’s, a golden slab was laid on the relic’s chamber and a golden pagoda built on it.
Over this a silver pagoda was built, then a tin pagoda ~ a copper pagoda, a lead pagoda, a marble pagoda and finally an iron brick pagoda. Pagodas, indeed all Buddhist structures, should properly be walked around clockwise. Ascend to the Pagoda is by electric lift on the Southern side, elevators on the western side and three concrete stairways on east, south and north sides respectively. |

| Strand Jetty |
The jetty is situated in front of the famous Strand Hotel. From there, you may observe the daily lives of people who came across the river from the other side of the city for working or selling their local products. You can cross the river by ferry boat, which takes about 10 minutes to return. |

| Sule Pagoda |
Sule Pagoda is recognized as the heart of Yangon, which is right beside the Myanmar Travel and Tours office and the City Hall. The Sule Pagoda is an excellent landmark. It is said to be over 2,000 years old. The pagoda is said to enshrine a hair of the Buddha. Its Mon name, Kyaik Athok translates as "the pagoda where a Sacred Hair Relic is enshrined". The golden pagoda is unusual in that its octagonal shape continues right up to the bell and inverted bowl. It stands 46 metres (152 feet) high and is surrounded by small shops and all the familiar non-religious services such as of astrologists, palmists, and so on. |

Yangon Zoological Garden has been inaugurated since 1906. Nowadays, it has an area of 69.25 acres. It is a World class zoo where one may observe a collection of animals’ habitat to Myanmar as well as the World over. Otter
Common Otters inhabit at mountain streams and lakes living in burrows where they can dig by themselves about 18 inches above flood level. They live in groups, probably family groups. Very good swimmers, they can stay under water for 6-8 minutes. When diving, ears and nostrils are closed. Their main food is fish, shrimps.
Elephant
Elephants are the largest living terrestrial mammal. They can be found in Africa and Asia. Their food consists of grasses, bamboo leaves and shoots, banana stems and leaves, fruits and barks of trees. Elephant live up to 80 years.
Star Tortoise
Myanmar Star Tortoise is a kind of species found in the hilly region of Myanmar. A very area species of medium-sized (28 cm shell length) tortoise is endemic to Myanmar.
In the Yangon Zoological Gardens, you can find Myanmar native deer that usually stay in groups is called golden deer.
